If the payout type is disabled - grey and not selectable - then Offer Sharing is preventing the offer from being updated. Since offer sharing is enabled for the offer and another network has imported the offer to their network, the payout method can not be chaned. If you want to change the payout type on an offer from CPA to CPC on an offer that is shared then you will need to create a new offer.
