If you are testing conversion tracking and duplicate / multiple conversions are being recorded, then its highly likely because you are in test mode.
Each time you login to your affiliate network application has an employee you get a network test cookie set on the tracking domain. When you interact with tracking links and have the test cookie set, you will receive notifications as well as conversions won't be subject to duplicate conversions. Showing notifications on click allow you to see in real-time how the ad server is making decisions based on offer settings. Not enforcing unique conversions allows you to test conversions easily and continuously, and depending on your affiliate network preferences you won't limited to only creating 1 conversion per day (which can make testing offers difficult).
If you want to remove the network test cookie, then load the custom tracking domain for your affiliate network in your browser and remove all cookies for the domain. Removing the network test cookie will allow you to see and experience how creatives code, tracking links and conversion tracking like a regular Internet user.
