Some affiliates have no traffic referrals because they are using special methods to send traffic. If an affiliate uses traditional redirection methods, all browsers will pass the address of the affiliate’s traffic source that referred the click.
If the referral traffic is not found, the affiliate may use technology with special redirection methods that do not include referral URLs. For example, some JavaScript redirects do not include a referring URL. Some affiliates use special redirection techniques to prevent you and other networks from finding their traffic sources and going direct. The system tracks all referrals it receives and it is up to you to work with the affiliate regarding missing traffic referrals.
