The HasOffers tracking software provides the following formats for tracking pixels: HTTP iFrame, HTTPS iFrame, HTTP Image, and HTTPS Image pixels.
HTTP and HTTPS are types of tracking protocol that are used when the advertiser conversion tracking pixel is placed on an offer. These tracking pixels use client based cookie to tracking clicks and conversions. When HTTPS protocol is selected, affiliate pixels are required to be HTTPS as well.
HTTP iFrame and HTTPS iFrame support third-party affiliate pixels. iFrame is the recommended tracking pixel. iFrame is not always supported on advertiser sites, so check with your advertiser first before setting you conversion tracking protocol to iFrame. HTTP Image and HTTPS Image pixels only support other third-party image pixels.
