Support Questions:What is the difference between clicks, unique clicks and gross clicks
From HasOffers
Ad servers track both unique clicks and gross clicks. Gross clicks are all clicks for a tracking link. Unique clicks enforce whether the person clicking is has clicked on a tracking link before. Unique clicks are the number of the unique users that click on a tracking link while gross clicks are all the clicks for a tracking link. If a user clicks 5 times on a tracking link, the ad servers will record 5 gross clicks and 1 unique click.
The application then has a preference to track clicks by gross (all) clicks or unique clicks. This setting is under customize application Tracking settings. If all clicks is selected as the tracking preference then clicks equals gross clicks. If unique clicks is selected as the tracking preference then clicks equals unique clicks. Then by default statistics and reports show clicks and click calculations like CTR are based on clicks. Then affiliates only have access to Clicks in their interface. Affiliates don’t have access to gross or unique clicks. Thus, affiliates reports and statistics are based on the application tracking preference.
