When an offer uses client-based tracking, sometimes the advertiser will display the conversion tracking pixel to users that didn’t click on a tracking link. If a user didn’t click on a tracking link (or see a creative when set session is on impression rather than clicks), then a session isn’t created for the user.
This just means the advertiser is displaying your conversion tracking pixel to users that didn’t originate from your affiliate marketing (never seen or interacted with one of your networks advertisements). This isn’t an error just a warning. This can lead to your network registering more conversions than the advertiser as the advertiser might allocate those conversions to a different source or network. If the advertiser has their own tracking system, it’s good to monitor and make sure the advertiser is displaying your conversion pixel when they actually record a conversion so you won’t record more conversions that they are going to pay you for.
