View-through conversion tracking provides you with additional information related to the value of your display campaigns. This feature starts tracking on an impression basis, so that users that saw a creative for an offer but did not click, will still be recorded as a conversion. You can use View-through conversion tracking to better measure return on investment (ROI) for your offers.
You can setup an to enable View-through conversions by updating the tracking setting of Start Session on Impression. When users view a creative and the impression pixel is displayed, a tracking cookie will be set on the users computer. If the tracking setting is set to start session on impression, then users only need to be shown the impression pixel (don't need to click on a tracking link) and when they make it to the page with the conversion pixel a conversion will be recorded.
Set the offer to start tracking on impression by editing the "Tracking" section of the offer details page and select "Start Session on Impressions". You can grab the impression pixel from the Generate Tracking panel, by simply clicking the check box for Impression Pixel. Impression Pixels are included by default in code generated for creatives in the Generate Tracking panel as well as displayed dynamically with creatives in Ad Manager campaigns.
