The configuration for using Google’s Gmail as a custom email domain are as follows:
SMTP host: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP port: 465
SMTP type: tls
SMTP username: email address is usually the username for Gmail
SMTP password: password for account associated with email above
From Name: anything but best to have it match name on email account
From Address: anything but best to match email used for username
After you specify the above, use the test email function and enter your email to make sure these settings work properly.
