Contents

Application Domain

This allows you to host your affiliate network on a custom domain. Example: affiliates.yourcompany.com

Before you update the custom application domain setting, you will need to update the DNS for the domain. Add the CNAME to your HasOffers sub domain for your application.

Example CNAME for application domain: demo.hasoffers.com

After DNS has resolved for the custom application domain, then specify the custom application domain in your application. Specifying the custom application domain before the DNS resolved will prevent you from access your affiliate network until the DNS update resolves.

Tracking Domain

This allows you to host your offer tracking URLs on a custom domain. Example: tracking.yourcompany.com

Before you update the custom tracking domain setting, you will need to update the DNS for the domain. Add the CNAME to your HasOffers sub domain for your ad server.

Example CNAME for tracking domain: demo.go2jump.org

If you network was created after Jan 1, 2011 the cname needs to use the domain go2cloud.org like NetworkID.go2cloud.org

After DNS has resolved for the custom tracking domain, then specify the custom tracking domain in your application. Specifying the custom tracking domain before the DNS resolved will cause tracking links and conversion recording to stop working until the DNS update resolves.

NOTICE: Changing your tracking domain from one custom tracking domain to another will cause any current affiliate tracking links and advertiser pixels that use old custom tracking domain to not work. Only 1 custom tracking domain can be used at any given time.

What if my Tracking Domain is Flagged

If your tracking domain is flagged by Site Advisor, Spamhuas, etc. we can setup your tracking domain to use a dedicated IP address. If you are using a shared tracking domain and not a custom tracking domain (setup instructions above), then its likely your shared domain is flagged by someone. There are tons of clients that use our shared tracking domains go2jump.org and go2cloud.org so its hard for us to keep them off every list.

To resolve these issues:

  • Make sure you are using a custom tracking domain
  • Upgrade to a dedicated IP address for your custom tracking domain
  • Upgrade to a custom SSL certificate for your custom tracking domain

Dedicated IP Address

A dedicated IP address separates your custom tracking from all our other clients. Since its separate and not linked to other clients, the reputation of your tracking domain will only be effected by your network.

Dedicated IP address costs extra per month with at least a 12 month commitment. To upgrade to a dedicated IP, please contact support.

Custom SSL Certificate

If you have a custom tracking domain but not an SSL certificate setup for it, HTTPS pixels will still use go2jump.org or go2cloud.org as the URL. This is because these default domains have valid SSL certificates setup for them.

Without a custom SSL certificate for your tracking domain, tracking works like this:

Tracking link: http://www.customdomain.com/aff_c?offer_id=1&aff_id=1

Redirect to shared tracking link to set tracking cookies: http://yournetworkid.go2cloud.org/aff_c?offer_id=1&aff_id=1

Then the conversion pixel will have a URL like this: https://yournetworkid.go2cloud.org/aff_l?offer_id=1

If you want the conversion pixels to have your custom tracking domain, then you need to have us setup an SSL certificate for it. A custom SSL certificate costs extra per month with at least a 6 month commitment. To upgrade to a Custom SSL Certificate, please contact support.

Custom SSL certificates also include a dedicated IP address. This is because the SSL certificate has to be setup on a new load balancer for your ad servers.

With a custom SSL certificate for your tracking domain, tracking works like this:

Tracking link: http://www.customdomain.com/aff_c?offer_id=1&aff_id=1

Conversion pixel URL: https://www.customdomain.com/aff_l?offer_id=1

Multiple Tracking Domains

Multiple tracking domains can be enabled. This feature allows you to setup offers to use one of these additional tracking domains or affiliates. First, you will need to follow the same steps as setting up a tracking domain outlined above so that the DNS information is pointed to the HasOffers platform. Once the DNS information is updated, you can add additional tracking domains. These will only be used when you specify for an affiliate or offer to use one of them.

Email Domain

Allow your network to use a custom SMTP email server for sending all email communications. By default email is sent using do-not-reply@adappsolutions.com. Enable a custom email domain to send email using custom SMTP settings. Below are the settings requires:
