Payout Updates:
Edit Conversion Payout and Revenue
Now when employees view a conversion from the Conversion Report they can edit the payout details. Updating the payout, revenue and sale amount on a conversion will also update the corresponding summary stats.
Include Your CPA on Invoices
We added a new payout column to invoices which includes the CPA, CPC or CPM payout amount. If an affiliate payout is $5/conversion, this is not displayed in the payout column. This value is calculated by dividing the payout amount by the quantity of actions. If the payout changed during the invoice period it will not align with any set payout. But rather, it will reflect the true CPA during the period of time selected in the report.
Customization Updates:
Improved Custom Pages
In case you were not aware, you can add new Tabs to the HasOffers navigation bar by visiting Customize Application > Additional Pages. Previously, you could add iframed content to additional pages to provide a custom experience, but with this update you can also pull in information from an external URL. This is designed to give you more flexibility to provide extra content to your affiliate program.
Custom affiliate and advertiser Start Page
In Customize Application > Affiliate Settings or Advertiser Settings, you can enable a Custom Start Page and then specify a URL. For example, if you want to send affiliates to the Offers Page upon Log In instead of the Snapshot Page, you can define this URL here. This is also useful if you would like to send affiliates directly to a custom page that you previously created to give them a completely unique experience.
Custom Domain Settings Update
Previously to set a custom domain for creative files or xml data feeds you need to enter the exact base URL format. Now you can simply input the domain (similar to custom tracking and application domain settings).
Reporting Updates:
Include IDs in Reports
Now affiliate ID, advertiser ID, offer ID and goal ID can be included in the Admin, Affiliate and Advertiser Reports.
Session IP Address for Affiliate Conversion Reports
In this update, we have given affiliates access to Session IP in their Conversion Reports. This the IP address recorded on the click. Affiliates will now see Session IP and Conversion IP broken out separately in their reporting.
Signup Updates:
Check for 3 characters on required signup questions
Now required Sign Up questions have to have three or more characters if they are required. Non-alphanumeric characters are excluded, so users can’t just put “————“ in a form field for a required response to Sign Up.
Validate Region on Signup
By default, the first region was selected in the region drop down form field on affiliate and advertiser Sign Up. Now, the first option is left blank so the user must select a region. This way they just don’t submit their application with the default drop down selected.
Affiliate and Advertiser signup Pixels
In Customize Application > Affiliate Settings or Advertiser Settings, you can set the Conversion Tracking Code. This way when an affiliate Signs Up and when they Log In for the first time, the conversion tracking code is displayed only once. The conversion tracking code could be an offer in their network, promoting affiliates to Sign Up.
API Update:
Include Network ID in API Domain
Please use your specific network ID (or account ID) in your API domain. This allows us to provide improved stability to your requests by assigning you to the proper server pools.
- Example: network ID.api.hasoffers.com
Pay Per Call Update:
Add 3rd party pixels/urls to PayPerCall Offers
If tracking for the offer was set to pay per call, then you couldn’t add any affiliate pixels or postback URLs on goals that were not pay per call. Now employee and affiliates can add pixels and urls to goals on offers that are set to pay per call.
Amazon Web Services Update:
In case you missed our last email, we want to make sure you are aware of the major migration to AWS that took place over the last two months. Previously, the HasOffers tracking engine was already hosted on the cloud, this migration included moving our database, application, and API servers to their own cloud pools. You can check out the status of each pool by visiting status.hasoffers.com.

We hope that these updates make tracking your business easier and thanks again for choosing HasOffers!
