Migrating to HasOffers from Directtrack, Linktrust, and other affiliate tracking software

One of the challenges of upgrading affiliate tracking technology is moving all of your current campaigns over to the new system without losing any traffic or conversions. In fact, this often prevents networks from making really important changes to their business. HasOffers has always worked hard to provide the support networks need to make the process as smooth as possible, but we just took it one step further.

Importing Data
Now you can seamlessly migrate your affiliate network to HasOffers at your own pace. Start by importing your own data directly into the HasOffers platform. Load all of your affiliate, advertiser, and offer data into the appropriate CSV templates and upload it to your new HasOffers network. To do this, hover over the Company tab in HasOffers and select Customize Application. Then, select Import Offers and browse for the CSV file you wish to upload. In only 15 minutes you will be notified on the snapshot page that the upload was successful.

Mapping Old Affiliate Links
Once you have all of your core data in place, it is time to start the migration process. The key to this phase is tracking your offers across both tracking platforms at the same time until the new network is completely in place. This overlap keeps you from losing any traffic. Though it is a good idea for affiliates to start replacing tracking links once the data has been loaded in HasOffers, we also provide very helpful information on mapping old tracking links and creative code over to HasOffers. By using reference IDs, the HasOffers ad server can provide offers based on the IDs of affiliates and offers found in the old tracking system.
