Affiliate Tracking News – Saved Reports, Lead Management, Device IDs

Wow! What an incredible Q1 we’re having at HasOffers. Amazing new customers every day, more feedback and engagement from clients than ever, and of course more application updates. As always, we want to remind you that you have a very real hand in shaping the future of HasOffers. Here are the most recent results from the combination of your feedback and our agile production team.

Saved Reports

This is one of our most popular requests recently, and we are happy to deliver. Individual Stat Reports can now be saved. They are saved with the data points, statistics and filters. These saved reports can then be loaded from the report pages. Links to saved reports are included in the “Quick Links” panel on the snapshot page for quick and easy access to regularly run reports.

New Customer Lists (Simple Lead Management)
Non-subscription offers can now build their own customer lists. You can use customer lists to capture and record customers (leads) with each conversion. Previously, we required the offer to be a subscription offer, but through client feedback we realized that it is helpful to record customers for many types of offers, especially for building lead lists. Customer lists can then be exported to CSV from the customer lists page.

Status Message on Conversion Report
The conversion report has a new field called Status Message. This field displays the reason for a pending or rejected conversion and provides insight into the circumstances of a specific conversion. Quickly viewing this field in the conversion report saves you the time of searching through the server logs report for the conversion in order to determine the status. This is the fastest way to investigate each conversion.

Detect Conversions from Proxies (Fraud Detection)
As we consistently improve our fraud features, we’ve implemented a new setting that detects if a conversion was created from a proxy. If a conversion was created from a proxy, then in many cases it may be fraudulent. The setting in the application is called Proxy Request Conversion Status. So if the conversion is detected to be created from a proxy, the status of the conversion will be set to rejected or pending for review. Proxy information provided by Digital Envoy which is significantly more accurate than other providers. A status message will be associated with the conversion saying it was detected as a proxy.

Custom Unsubscribe Link (Mail Room)
Users receiving email through the Mail Room (Enterprise, Dedicated only) will now see a custom branded unsubscribe link that matches your unique network address. This white label unsubscribe link makes it easy for users to stop receiving email and keeps your network compliant.

Device ID on Click for Mobile App Installs

Device ID can now be included in the tracking link on click. Then when the device ID is passed in on conversion, it is used to look up the session information based on the device ID (along with offer ID). Since the device ID doesn’t change, this makes tracking of mobile app installs extremely accurate. However, there are some instances where the device ID is unknown.
