PHP Developer
Responsibilites:- Develop custom web applications in CakePHP as part of a cohesive project team.
- Collaborate with team to write and review functional specifications
- Apply systems analysis skills to understand and define technical requirements/specs
- Perform bug verification, release testing and support for assigned projects.
- Manage time and tasks to meet deadlines and budgets
- Program new features and address issues in custom web applications using PHP.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in programming web applications on PHP.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and/or design patterns.
- Strong web development skills and demonstrated proficiency with CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and HTML technologies.
- Extensive LAMP knowledge (linux, apache, mysql, php) experience with subversion
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with SVN.
- Comfort using Unix/Linux based operating systems and command line operations.
- Previous experience using CakePHP and MVC frameworks.
- Ability to integrate new code into existing legacy code base.
