South Korea, We Are Delighted to Say, “Annyeong-Haseyo!” (Ya Know, Hello!)

Peter Hamilton

We couldn’t be more thrilled to be opening our first Asia Pacific office in beautiful Seoul. South Korea is quickly becoming one of the top startup and technology hubs in Asia, as mentioned in this recent Venturebeat article, and we’re ecstatic to be joining the likes of Google, SuperCell, Uber, AirBnB, Facebook and other tech companies who have recently opened offices in Seoul.

Our Seoul office will act as our home base for the broader Asia Pacific market and will be staffed by sales and account managers focused on supporting current and new MobileAppTracking customers. The Seoul office will be led by Bryan Kim, Director of Business Development APAC, who recently moved from our San Francisco office to help grow and lead the new team. Bryan has been working in mobile since 2009 and brings years of experience to the thriving mobile ecosystem in South Korea and Asia. We’re excited to have him lead our efforts there.

This has been quite a busy year so far for us here at HasOffers and MobileAppTracking: we’ve seen our company grow from 60 employees last year to over 160 today; we launched our London office (our fourth overall) in November of 2013, and we saw a record breaking year in revenue for both our HasOffers and MobileAppTracking products.

We continue to announce new features for MobileAppTracking such as our integration with Windows SDK and support for iAd attribution, and now support over 400 different ad networks and publishers.

Our MobileAppTracking solution is being delivered to more and more customers around the world, and we’ve been overwhelmed by the support and feedback we’ve been receiving. Our mission, specifically for MobileAppTracking, is to provide transparency in the mobile advertising landscape by offering unbiased attribution analytics for mobile app advertisers and developers to measure the value of their advertising campaigns.

The growth of the mobile app ecosystem shows no signs of slowing down and, if anything, is only increasing dramatically in other regions around the globe. We’ve seen more customers join our platform from countries in the Asia Pacific region and are very optimistic about the opportunity that exists there. But, don’t just take our word on it, check out the infographic below for some delicious stats on the mobile landscape in Asia.

If you’re in the Seoul area or will be there for business, please reach out so we can say hello. We’re also looking forward to meeting new customers and friends as we expand our footprint in this incredible part of the world!
